The Merry is a smaller version of one of Freenotes’ most popular instruments, the Pegasus, scaled down for use by smaller children. Its name fittingly describes the joyous noise it produces, which is sure to brighten the spirits of all those who hear it. Early experience with music has proven benefits on emotional and cognitive development, and this instrument is a perfect way to introduce children to those benefits in a fun setting. Its simple design makes it easy for anyone to learn on, and the width of the instrument is small enough that anyone can easily reach every note of its eleven aluminum keys, which are precisely tuned to the C Major pentatonic scale. Like most Freenotes instruments, the Merry comes with recycled plastic mounting post which can be adjusted to a range of heights to accommodate children of any age or physical ability. In-ground mounting comes standard, but surface mounts or a portable stand are also available for an additional cost.
