Merry Go Rounds have been classic playground activities for ages, but never before has there been a model like this one, which allows children with wheelchairs, as well as any other differently able children, to ride alongside their friends. This unique Wheelchair Accessible Merry Go Round is installed level with your playground surfacing, allowing wheels to roll right on top. Up to two wheelchairs can be rolled on top of it, then secured with closing gates. There is plenty of room for other children as well, with a total capacity of 10 – 12 kids, and a weight limit of 5250 pounds. On the underside of the Merry Go Round, there is a speed governor, which helps keep the riders safe by limiting the maximum speed. This is a great way to encourage all children to play side by side and work together as they take turns spinning it.
